What services do you offer?

Home boarding for small dogs under 20 lbs. Maximum four guests at a time. Your dog stays with us in our home and has access to a private acre of grounds and a lake. This is not a kennel.
How do I get started?

Fill out a stay request and I'll be in touch. I'll ask about your dog's personality, habits, and any special needs so we can make sure it's a good fit before your dog's first stay.
What makes you different?

Twenty years of professional dog training experience, a maximum of four guests, and an acre of grass, fresh air, and lake access. No cement kennels. No chain link. Just a very old house and a lot of room to breathe.

Calm. Honest. No upselling, no unnecessary extras. You'll know exactly what to expect, and so will your dog.

What about fleas, ticks, and parasites?
No. The nightly rate is the nightly rate. Walks to the lake, Kongs, medication administration, and cuddles are all included. I don't believe in the diner menu approach to dog boarding. The one exception: if you forget to send food, I'll provide food for $5 per meal. Pack the kibble and there's nothing extra.
Yes, please send your dog's regular food to avoid any digestive disruption from a sudden change. Once your stay is confirmed, I'll send you an information sheet covering food, medication, routines, and anything else I need to know. If you forget to send food, I'll take care of it for $5 per meal.
Keep it simple. Think carry-on, not full checked bags:
Food (pre-portioned if possible)
Collar or harness, and a leash for transportation
Medications, clearly labeled with dosage instructions
Optional: a t-shirt, small blanket, or something with your scent
Please label everything with your dog's name and pack it all in a single bag — it makes check-in smoother and ensures nothing gets mixed up. I have plenty of toys, beds, treats, and leashes here.
We're in the Hudson Valley so ticks, fleas, and other parasites are in the environment. Please ensure your dog is current on flea and tick prevention and vaccinations before their stay. One note: Seresto collars can loosen during active play. If your dog wears one, please label it clearly before arrival. I'll do my best to keep track of it, but can't be responsible if it goes missing. I recommend an oral or topical preventative for the duration of the stay.
